How to Use

Will the timer work if I switch to another tab?

Yes, the timer continues running in the background even if you switch tabs or minimize your browser. However, for the most accurate timing, it's best to keep the tab active.

Can I set multiple timers at once?

Currently, you can only run one timer at a time per browser tab. You can open multiple browser tabs if you need several simultaneous countdowns.

Why didn't I hear the sound alert?

Make sure the "Sound Alert" checkbox is enabled and your device volume is turned up. Some mobile browsers may require user interaction before playing sounds. The sound uses Web Audio API and should work on most modern browsers.

How accurate is the timer?

The timer uses JavaScript's built-in timing functions which are accurate within a few milliseconds. However, if your device goes to sleep or the browser is heavily throttled, there may be slight delays. For critical applications, use a dedicated hardware timer.
