Frequently Asked Questions

How is my streak calculated?

Your streak counts consecutive days of completing a habit. If you miss a day, the streak resets to zero. The streak motivates you to maintain consistency and not break the chain.

Can I track habits from previous days?

Currently, you can only mark today's habit as complete. This encourages forming the habit of using the tracker daily. We may add backdating features in future updates.

Is there a limit to how many habits I can track?

There's no strict limit, but we recommend focusing on 3-5 habits at a time for better success rates. Too many habits can be overwhelming and harder to maintain.

Will my habit data be lost if I clear my browser?

Yes, clearing your browser data will delete all habit information. We recommend taking periodic screenshots of your progress as backup. Your data is never transmitted to our servers.

What's the best way to build a new habit?

Start small, be consistent, and track your progress. Research suggests it takes about 21-66 days to form a habit. Use this tracker daily, celebrate small wins, and don't be too hard on yourself if you miss a day—just get back on track the next day.
