Frequently Asked Questions

What image formats are supported?

We support JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF formats. The output will be in PNG format for best quality and transparency support. Maximum file size is 10MB for upload.

Does resizing affect image quality?

Resizing larger images to smaller dimensions typically maintains good quality. However, enlarging small images may result in pixelation. We recommend starting with high-resolution images (at least the target size) for best results.

Are my images stored on your servers?

No. All image processing happens entirely in your browser using HTML5 Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded to any server, ensuring complete privacy and security.

What's the difference between crop and resize?

Resize changes the overall dimensions of the image, potentially stretching it. Our tool uses "cover" mode which crops and scales to fit the exact dimensions while maintaining aspect ratio, ensuring no stretching occurs.

Can I resize multiple images at once?

Currently, this tool processes one image at a time. For batch processing, you may need to use desktop software or repeat the process for each image. We may add batch processing in future updates.
